Fellowships for Video Journalism Course in The Netherlands

RNTC_courseMidcareer print, online and broadcast journalists in the Middle East and North Africa can apply for a scholarship program in the Netherlands.

The Radio Nederland Training Centre (RNTC) offers a 10-day video journalism course, sponsored by the MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP). The course is open to journalists with at least three years of experience in broadcast, print and/or online journalism.

The aim of the course is to develop the participants skills as a video journalist, shooting their own pictures, recording their own sound and doing their own editing in order to make video stories for broadcast or online.

The eligible candidates should to be proficient in English, not older than 45 and be nationals of and working in one of these countries: Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Syria, and Tunisia.

Applications for the scholarships should be submitted to the Netherlands Embassies in the applicants’ countries.

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is Feb. 4.
