The March edition of the Newsletter from the Media Diversity Institute (MDI) is available online for those who cannot access it via email, or are not included in our mailing list.

If you would like to receive MDI’s Newsletter regularly and other occasional announcements, please write to us at: newsletter@media-diversity.org and we will add you to our mailing list.

The MDI Portal receives visits from six continents. MDI is a leading global charity for training journalists in reporting diversity. We have worked with media educators and professionals, and civil society organisations, in 56 countries for the past 15 years.

MDI has current projects in the EU countries, UK, Russia, North Africa region, Sub Saharan Africa, Middle East, the Caribbean and Indonesia.

The Media Diversity Institute (MDI) works internationally to encourage and facilitate responsible media coverage of diversity. It aims to prevent the media from intentionally or unintentionally spreading prejudice, intolerance and hatred which can lead to social tensions, disputes and violent conflict. MDI encourages instead fair, accurate, inclusive and sensitive media coverage in order to promote understanding between different groups and cultures.
