The British press demonstrated considerable interest in the visit of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi to Italy in June 2009. Arab Media Watch collated and analysed press coverage of the visit, and found that along with previous examinations of Gaddafi and Libya in the British media, there is little positive to be said.
