Is there a time limit for prosecuting war crimes? Could journalists be held responsible for their war reporting?
Second Biennial War Crimes conference is being held from 3rd to 5th March in the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, School of Advanced Studies, University of London. This conference is a joint initiative between SOLON, the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and the Centre for Contemporary British History to explore themes surrounding judicial roles and responses to war crimes -past, present and future.
Executive Director of Media Diversity Institute Milica Pesic will contribute to the session on Friday 4th of March with her presentation on “The Media, Journalism and Reporting War Crimes Processes”.
A particular attention will be given to the International Criminal Court, as the Court’s actions increasingly show that it is taking on the role of the conscience of the world.
