Given the ever-increasing numbers of migrants around the world, the subject of bias against migrants is very contemporary. This academic paper investigates prejudice and discrimination against migrants and shows that they are related to how easy people find it to think about migrants.
The research was conducted by Mark Rubin, in collaboration with Dr Stefania Paolini from the University of Newcastle, Australia and Professor Richard Crisp from the University of Kent, UK. The paper was supported by the Australian Research Council’s Discovery Projects funding scheme.
