The role of journalists is crucial for the protection and integration of refugees – it is essential that an accurate picture of refugees and related issues is portrayed in the public eye and media. The UNHCR and the NUJ have published a code of conduct for journalists reporting on refugees, seeking to improve standards for journalists writing on this difficult subject.
