Training Manual on Human Trafficking for Journalists

This training manual for journalists produced by Serbia-based NGO ASTRA (Anti Trafficking Action) with the support of OSCE Mission to Serbia was created to offer fundamental information and writing recommendations to all those who write or wish to write about the phenomenon of trafficking in women.

As the authors say, the manual is produced in order to present the problem to citizens in the most precise possible manner, in the interests of women victims of trafficking and all those who deal with them.

The manual provides a cross section of the most significant aspects to the problem of trafficking in women as experienced by an organization from Serbia. NGO ASTRA, the publisher of the Manual, is a women’s non-governmental organization, which works on the prevention of human trafficking and offers direct assistance to the victims. The manual has been created on the basis of eight years of experience in fighting human trafficking in Serbia.
